Abstract(s)
Notre propos est de faire une approche de Nancy Huston afin de démontrer combien la question
de l’altérité est au centre de l’écriture de l’auteur. Nous analyserons la représentation de l’écriture
hustonienne abordant une vision translinguistique et transculturelle rappelant que pour la
plupart des écrivains, l’Exil est un déchirement, une expérience qu’ils témoigneront plus tard
dans leurs écrits. En passant par la traversée des cultures, par la traversée des frontières, nous
essaierons de mettre en évidence le rapport de l’écrivaine à la langue maternelle et à la langue
d’exil (d’adoption) visant son parcours linguistique et autotraductif dans Lignes de faille (2005)
et Danse noire (2013). Notre intention est de révéler combien son expérience transculturelle,
d’où elle a puisé la richesse et la blessure, fait naître un nouveau monde. Nous proposons de
dégager une pensée du « devenir écrivaine » en nous interrogeant sur la singularité d’une oeuvre
passerelle, transfrontalière, contemporaine.
Claiming our purpose is to take an approach by Nancy Huston demonstrate how much the question of otherness is at the centre of the author’s writing. We will analyse the representation of Hustonian writing from a translinguistic and transcultural approach recalling that for most writers. By crossing cultures, by crossing borders, we will try to highlight the relationship of the writer to the mother tongue and to the language of exile (of adoption) aimed at her linguistic and self-translating path in Lignes de faille [Fault Lines] (2005) and Danse noire [Black Dance] (2013). Our intention is to reveal how much her transcultural experience, from which she drew richness and pain, gave birth to a new world. We propose to identify the thought of “becoming a writer” by questioning ourselves about the singularity of a bridge, cross-border, contemporary work.
