O atual relatório incide nas práticas educativas realizadas no âmbito da unidade curricular
de Prática de Ensino Supervisionada desenvolvida em contexto de Creche, Educação PréEscolar e 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, integrada no Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e
Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Escola Superior de Educação, do Instituto
Politécnico de Bragança. Esta investigação pretende compreender a relação entre a escola
e a família nos contextos da ação educativa. Para tal, foram delineados os seguintes
objetivos: (i) Compreender as dinâmicas que existem nos diferentes contextos no âmbito
da relação escola-família; (ii) Analisar a interação família-escola; (iii) Promover o
interesse e a participação dos familiares no processo educativo dos seus educandos; (iv)
Fomentar a comunicação entre os contextos educativos e as famílias. A opção
metodológica foca-se numa abordagem de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, tendo como
técnicas e instrumentos de recolha de dados a observação, as notas de campo, o inquérito
por questionário e os registos fotográficos. A relação entre a escola e a família é essencial
no processo educativo das crianças, visto que desempenha um papel fundamental no seu
desenvolvimento. Com esta parceria, as crianças sentem-se mais valorizadas, seguras e
confiantes, o que potencia um aumento do desenvolvimento escolar. Tendo em
consideração os resultados atingidos, verificamos que a relação escola-família é benéfica
para o sucesso educativo das crianças.
The current report focuses on the educational practices carried out within the curricular unit of Supervised Teaching Practice developed in the context of Daycare, Pre-School Education and 1st Cycle of Basic Education, integrated in the Master's degree in PreSchool Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, of the Higher School of Education, of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. This investigation aims to understand the relationship between school and family in the contexts of educational action. To this end, the following objectives were outlined: (i) Understanding the dynamics that exist in the different contexts within the school-family relationship; (ii) Analyze the family-school interaction; (iii) Promote the interest and participation of family members in the educational process of their students; (iv) Foster communication between educational contexts and families. The methodological option focuses on a qualitative and quantitative approach, with observation, field notes, questionnaire surveys and photographic records as data analysis and collection techniques. The relationship between school and family is essential in the educational process of children as it plays a key role in their development. With this partnership children feel more valued, safe, and confident which enhances an increase in school development. Considering the results achieved, we verified that the school-family relationship is beneficial for the educational success of children.
