Pollinators play an important role in maintaining biodiversity. They transport, for example, pollen between flowers, thus allowing the reproduction of various species of plants and with it the formation of fruits and seeds, which are also essential for the survival of other species, including Man. In recent times, there has been a decrease in pollinator populations due to human actions, which can cause or exacerbate environmental, economic, and social problems. It is urgent, then, that we all collaborate in conservation measures of these populations. For this purpose, Environmental Education is essential, as it promotes the reflection on this and other themes concerning the environment, sustainability, and nature conservation from an early age, and thus contributing to changes in the behaviour of all citizens. Environmental Education can be implemented in all contexts, from school and other formal ones, but also in non-formal contexts. Structures such as the Parque Ibérico de Natureza e Aventura - PINTA, in Vimioso, play a leading role in environmental awareness and education in a non-formal context, as it promotes the contact with nature for citizens of all ages, but particularly with children, as well as reflections about the environment. This Project Work created a set of didactic resources on the theme of Pollinating Insects. It seeks to understand how these resources are perceived by family groups with children from 6 to 12 years old who visit the PINTA, and how they can influence their conservation attitudes and behaviours towards pollinating insects. The study showed that the didactic resources created were, in general, well accepted by the children, who developed them with enthusiasm and interest. It was also concluded that the family groups participating in the study perceived the Parque Ibérico de Natureza e Aventura as an important structure of Environmental Education in a non-formal context.
