Abstract(s)
Neste artigo descreve-se uma experiência realizada com o software PSPP no âmbito da
unidade curricular de Métodos Quantitativos de um Curso Técnico Superior Profissional de uma
Instituição de Ensino Superior Politécnico. Neste contexto, no ano letivo 2018/2019 realizou-se
uma tarefa, cujo principal objetivo foi estudar as potencialidades deste software para promover
a aprendizagem de conceitos de estatística descritiva. Concluiu-se que o PSPP contribuiu de
forma positiva para a aprendizagem dos alunos. De realçar que, a maioria concorda ou
concorda totalmente que a utilização do PSPP tornou a aula mais motivante (100%), fez com
que se entusiasmassem a resolver a tarefa (90%), permitiu que se centrassem mais nos
aspetos de interpretação (90%) e ajudou a compreender melhor os conteúdos (95%). This paper describes an experience with the software PSPP within the scope of the Quantitative
Methods course unit of a Higher Professional Technical Course of a Polytechnic Higher
Education Institution. In this context, in the academic year 2018/2019 was carried out a task,
whose main objective was to study the potential of this software to promote the learning of
descriptive statistics concepts. It was concluded that the PSPP contributed positively to student
learning. It should be noted that, most students agree or fully agree that using the PSPP made
the class more motivating (100%), encouraged them to solve the task (90%), allowed them to
focus more on the aspects of interpretation (90 %) and helped to better understand the contents
(95%).
