Abstract(s)
This project report, inserted in the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice curricular unit, integrated with the study plan of the Master's Degree in Music Education Teaching in Basic Education, presents, in a contextualized and reflective way, the learning experiences developed in the context of the 2nd cycle of Basic Education, with students aged between ten and eleven years old. Its objectives are: (1) To develop and evaluate new methodological approaches to teaching/learning, promoting collaborative work, and establishing guidelines in the classroom; (2) to Captivate students' attention and eliminate the "disinterest" factor in the Music Education discipline, giving them the opportunity to explore musical instruments such as guitar, ukulele, drums, piano, and voice, promoting strategies for their technique, during the performance; (3) Study how a teacher can have a guiding role by opening up new possibilities that meet the student's interests, developing work in pairs and/or groups, seeking personal and group success; (4) Songwriting for music that meets students' interests. To fulfill these objectives, I support the project with a general schedule, activity plans, and photographic records, having as a final product the audio recording with the vocal performance of the music with lyrics created by the students. The analysis of these records reveals that, through collaborative work between colleagues and teachers, there are many ways to educate about music in a captivating way.
