Nos últimos anos o sector das Instalações Elétricas (IE) e Infraestruturas de Telecomunicações em Edifícios (ITED) teve uma evolução muito significativo. Toda essa evolução em termos funcionais só foi possível suportada nos desenvolvimentos da tecnologia em domínios como a eletrónica, telecomunicações e informática. O que permitiu a utilização dos recursos energéticos de forma económica, segura, amigo do
ambiente e eficiente. A temática da eficiência energética aplicada aos edifícios é um assunto recorrente nos dias de hoje, principalmente por questões financeiras e ambientais. A evolução tecnológica das últimas décadas apetrechou-nos de ferramentas capazes de gerir os edifícios de forma eficiente, tornando-os de certa forma “inteligentes” através dos vários sistemas de domótica e gestão técnica existentes pelo mundo, como o KNX. Na sequência destes factos, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo demonstrar as atividades desenvolvidas na ótica de Projetos de Instalações Elétricas num edifício, incluindo a tecnologia da rede domótica KNX, e Infraestruturas de Telecomunicações em Edifícios. O projeto em questão trata-se de uma residência universitária, composta por dois pisos.
In recent years, the Electrical Installations (IE) and Telecommunications Infrastructure in Buildings (ITED) sector has undergone very significant evolution. All this evolution in functional terms was only possible supported by technological evolution in areas such as electronics, telecommunications and information technologies. This allowed the use of energy resources in an economical, safe, environmentally friendly and efficient way. The topic of energy efficiency applied to buildings is a recurring issue nowadays, mainly for financial and environmental reasons. The technological evolution of recent decades has equipped us with tools capable of managing buildings efficiently, making them “intelligent” in a certain way through the various home automation and technical management systems that exist around the world, such as KNX. Following these facts, this dissertation aims to demonstrate the activities developed from the perspective of Electrical Installation Projects in a building, including KNX home automation network technology, and Telecommunications Infrastructure in Buildings. The project in question concerns a university residence, consisting of two floors.
