Abstract(s)
El presente artículo pretende presentar uno de los muchos problemas y respectiva solución llevada a cabo, evidenciando de forma práctica la actividad de un pequeño centro de informática de una escuela superior en Portugal, en particular en lo que se refiere a la instalación y configuración de un servidor web de código abierto. Ofrecer plataformas y aplicaciones web en línea permite que cualquier escuela extienda sus fronteras de enseñanza y aprendizaje a su comunidad educativa. Metodológicamente, este trabajo se basa en la metodología del proyecto, pues su objetivo fue la resolución de un problema de práctica cotidiana. A pesar de las limitaciones del presente artículo, estamos convencidos de que esta reflexión puede ser una valiosa contribución a muchos pequeños centros de informática para poner a disposición o actualizar un servidor web (Apache, MySQL y PhP) con plataformas y aplicaciones educativas indispensables para el normal funcionamiento de la institución.
The present article aims to present one of the many problems and their solution carried out, evidencing, in a practical way, the work activity of a small computer center of a higher school in Portugal, namely with regard to the installation and configuration of a server web open source. Providing online platforms and web applications allows any school to extend its teaching and learning frontiers to its educational community. Methodologically, this work is based on the project methodology, since its purpose was the resolution of a problem of daily practice. Punctually, software engineering methodology was also used. Aware of the limitations that this article may have in methodological and research terms, we are convinced that this reflection can be a valuable contribution to many small computer centers in providing or updating a web server (Apache, MySQL and PhP) with platforms and educational applications indispensable for the normal functioning of the institution.
