Abstract(s)
Em Cabo Verde a utilização das tecnologias digitais pelos professores em contexto educativo é uma realidade recente. Nos últimos anos foram desenvolvidos alguns projetos para melhorar a qualidade do ensino através da utilização das tecnologias digitais na escola, mas ainda há muito por fazer, principalmente no ensino básico. Assim, o principal objetivo deste trabalho é verificar como se encontra o processo de integração das tecnologias digitais no ensino básico na cidade da Praia, bem como analisar se os professores do ensino básico utilizam essas ferramentas nas suas práticas. Os métodos qualitativo e quantitativo orientam a pesquisa utilizando o inquérito por questionário online na recolha de dados. Os resultados apontam que os professores do ensino básico da cidade da Praia não utilizam as tecnologias digitais devido à falta de equipamentos nas escolas, e quando existem são antigos e estão desatualizados, mas também por não possuírem formação adequada.
In Cape Verde, the use of digital technologies by teachers in an educational context is a recent reality. In recent years, some projects have been developed to improve the quality of teaching through the use of digital technologies in schools, but there is still a lot to be done, mainly in basic education. Thus, the main objective of this work is to verify how is the process of integration of digital technologies in basic education in the city of Praia, as well as to analyze if teachers of basic education use these tools in their practices. Qualitative and quantitative methods guide the research using the online questionnaire survey to collect data. The results show that the teachers of basic education in the city of Praia do not use digital technologies due to the lack of equipment in schools, and when they exist, they are old and outdated, but also because they do not have adequate training.
