Abstract(s)
This article presents a study carried out with two grade 1 classes, in the context of implementing the new Mathematics' curriculum. A sequence of tasks was carried out with the purpose of developing computational thinking, practices articulated with learning about the topic Numbers, and an attempt was made to identify the five practices of computational thinking in the students' activities. We ascertained that the students mobilized all the practices, the emergence of algorithmics coming to the fore and, at the same time, these practices allowed them to delve deeper into their mathematical knowledge in the content explored in the topic Numbers.
