Abstract(s)
Como problema mundial que é, o bullying pode ocorrer em toda e qualquer escola, não
se restringindo a nenhuma específica.
Apesar de ser um comportamento aceite cultural e naturalmente como brincadeiras
inofensivas de crianças e de adolescentes, o bullying tem um poder destrutivo
provocando danos psicológicos incalculáveis e irreparáveis a todos os envolvidos nestes
acontecimentos.
No presente projeto deu-se ênfase à visão do professor do 1º e 2º Ciclo do ensino Básico
sobre o fenómeno e sobre o jogo como meio de prevenção do mesmo.
Este projeto pretende assim, num primeiro momento, proporcionar uma elucidação
acerca de uma prática atual de agressão nas escolas - o bullying -, num segundo
momento apresentar a investigação realizada e, por último, apresentar o projeto de
prevenção produzido.
A investigação foi realizada durante o ano letivo de 2010/2011 com professores do 1º e
2º Ciclo do Ensino Básico de ambos os sexos, abrangendo um total de 33 participantes.
Foi uma investigação de natureza qualitativa e quantitativa, utilizando-se o questionário
como instrumento de recolha de dados, com os objetivos: perceber o entendimento dos
professores do 1º e 2º Ciclos do Ensino Básico sobre o fenómeno de bullying em
contexto escolar e investigar se os professores do 1º e 2º Ciclos do Ensino Básico
consideram pertinente o uso de jogos para a prevenção do bullying escolar.
Relativamente ao projeto criado, o mesmo visa essencialmente contribuir para a
prevenção do bullying escolar através do jogo, quer em suporte manual, quer em suporte
digital, entendido como um recurso didático na construção do conhecimento. Bullying is a pervasive problem that may occur in any school. Although it may be
viewed as a tolerable, natural and harmless behavior of children and teenagers, bullying
has a destructive power and could cause incalculable and irreparable psychological
damage to all involved.
A project was designed to address his problem. Its emphasis is on the views of bullying
and of game as a mean of prevention hold by teachers of the 1st and 2nd cycle of basic
education.
Therefore the first goal of the project was to provide some clarification about bullying
in schools. The second goal was the study of the teachers’ views on bullying and on
game as a tool of prevention. The third goal was the design of an educative game.
The study was conducted during the academic year of 2010/2011 with 33 participants
(i.e., teachers of the 1st and 2nd cycle of basic education and of both sexes). A
questionnaire was used to study the teachers’ views. The results base the necessity of a
project to prevent bullying. So, an educative game was designed in a digital and in a
card format, in order to be used by teachers and pupils as an educative and preventive
resource.
