Abstract(s)
The present work represents the end of the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), of the master’s course in Teaching Music Education in Basic Education, from the Escola Superior de Educação, from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. As such, the main objective of this report is to present the work developed in the context of a professional internship, in the Music Education discipline, in the 5th and 6th years of schooling in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education. Through this document, I intend to focus on the teaching-learning experiences carried out and substantiated through the literature and pedagogical-musical approaches of the authors: Edwin Gordon, Carl Orff, and Keith Swanwick. Along with the theoretical foundation, an action-research was carried out in relation to the teaching-learning experiences developed in the context of Music Education. The research carried out was based on musical creation, creativity, the experience of music and the use of musical instruments, little used in the classroom, namely: guitar, drums, piano and bass. The goal is to know the impact of its use on student learning. Throughout the report, the results achieved are presented, results that reflect the motivation and involvement of students in the discipline, allowing to outline pedagogical options to be adopted in a future practice.
