Vivemos atualmente num mundo e mercado globalizados e em constante evolução tecnológica. A
tradução e a localização ocupam cada vez mais um lugar de destaque, quer a nível comercial quer a nível
literário, pelo que a garantia da qualidade assume um papel preponderante, no qual se insere a revisão e
a edição dos projetos da tradução. Para tal atividade, existem normas de base, como, por exemplo, o
modelo LISA Quality Assurance, a Norma Europeia de Qualidade UNE EN-15038:2006 e a Norma Portuguesa
NP61, que contêm determinados critérios normalizados, com o intuito de clarificar os processos de
tradução e localização de documentos. Neste artigo, analisaremos a importância da revisão e da edição e
quais os principais métodos e modelos de apoio à tradução, com base na pesquisa bibliográfica e
webgráfica.
We live in a globalized market that is undergoing constant technological evolution. Translation and localization are increasingly prominent, in a commercially and literally level, where quality assurance plays a predominant role, which includes the revision and edition of translation projects. For this activity there are basic standards, such as the LISA QA Method; the European Standard of Quality UNE EN-15038: 2006 and the Portuguese Standard NP61, which contains certain standardized criteria, in order to clarify the translation and localization of documents. In this article we will analyze the importance of revision and editing and what are the main methods and models and to support translation, based on bibliographic research and other sources on the web.
