Abstract(s)
A formação de educadores e professores é um processo que exige uma contínua reflexão dos
diferentes atores envolvidos. No presente estudo pretende-se analisar o que pensam os alunos
da formação em ciências e em didática das ciências obtida na Licenciatura em Educação Básica
na Escola Superior de Educação de Bragança, e como essa formação contribui para seu o
desempenho no âmbito da iniciação à prática profissional. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, de
caráter descritivo e interpretativo que recorreu a entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os resultados
evidenciaram que os alunos manifestaram satisfação relativamente à formação em ciências, e
realçaram o papel da didática das ciências para o desenvolvimento das suas experiências nos
diferentes contextos. Referiram, ainda, a relevância do trabalho prático e experimental e a
implementação destas estratégias nas suas práticas educativas.
Concluiu-se que embora a opinião dos alunos seja favorável à formação recebida reconhecem
que há necessidade dessa formação ser ampliada.
The teacher training is a process that requires continuous reflection by the different participants involved. In this study we intend to analyze what students think about training in science and didactic of sciences during degree in Elementary Education at the School of Education of Bragança, and how this training contributes to their performance in the professional practice. This is a qualitative study of descriptive and interpretative character, are used semi-structured interviews. The results showed that students have expressed satisfaction with the training in science, and highlighted the role of didactics of science to the development of their experiences in different contexts. They noted also the importance of practical and experimental work and the implementation of these strategies in their educational practices. We conclude that the opinion of the students is favorable although they recognize that they need more training.
