Abstract(s)
superados.
The present research is related to the theme "Postural Assessment in women's football players", whose starting question was "Is there a relationship between body posture and the independent variables of female soccer players?" And the following objectives were listed: Characterize study participants; Describe the way sports bags / sacks are carried; Evaluate lifestyle habits that may be facilitators of poor body posture; Evaluate deviations of the spine by applying the Adams test; To compare postural variables with anthropometric variables (weight, height and body mass index) and with other independent variables, to be accomplished by a descriptive study of a quantitative nature and convenience, with the application of a structured questionnaire to 25 female soccer players of the Associação Desportiva de Paredes and who agreed to participate in the study. The data obtained allowed us to conclude that the sample studied had positive results in terms of body posture, which could be due not only to soccer practice from an early age, but also to the correct use of school backpacks and bags with the equipment of training and the use of appropriate and sporting footwear. In fact, the results of the Adams test indicate the absence of gibbosities and scoliosis, and although the SAPO software indicates some changes in the postural evaluation, they are changes that can easily be overcome with teaching, rehabilitation programs or postural re-education.
