Abstract(s)
Este trabalho visa apresentar o projeto PortAberta – Portal de Investigação para a Ciência Aberta –
que tem como promotores a Universidade do Minho (UMinho) e o Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB). A
iniciativa surge com o propósito de colmatar uma necessidade partilhada de estabelecer um sistema CRIS e Portal
de Investigação, como ferramentas para apoiar e reforçar a afirmação na investigação e inovação, alicerçada em
sistemas de software aberto, sob princípios da Ciência Aberta e alinhado com as iniciativas nacionais, assegurando
sustentabilidade à operação e a sua relevância como boa prática a nível nacional e europeu. O “Portal de
Investigação para a Ciência Aberta” em desenvolvimento no quadro da operação de modernização PortAberta,
surgiu com o propósito de disponibilizar “Portais de Investigação” que facilitem o acesso, consulta e utilização da
informação da Investigação na UMinho e IPB, quer internamente pelos seus membros e órgãos, quer externamente,
promovendo a visibilidade, impacto da atividade e dos resultados de I&D. Estes Portais de investigação da UMinho
e do IPB serão operacionalizados através da implementação do software VIVO.
This work aims to present the PortAberta project - Research Portal for Open Science - which has as promoters the University of Minho (UMinho) and the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB). The initiative arises with the purpose of meeting a shared need to establish a CRIS system and Research Portal, as tools to support and strengthen the affirmation in research and innovation, based on open software systems, under the principles of Open Science and aligned with national initiatives, ensuring sustainability to the operation and its relevance as a good practice at national and European level. The "Research Portal for Open Science" under development in the framework of the PortAberta modernization operation emerged with the purpose of providing "Research Portals" that facilitate access, consultation and use of research information in UMinho and IPB, both internally by its members and organs, and externally, promoting visibility, impact of activity and R&D results. These Research Portals of UMinho and IPB will be made operational through the implementation of VIVO software.
