Implementação do e-learning no 1.º CEB: potencialidades e barreiras

| dc.description.abstract | Com o crescente uso das tecnologias digitais em vários contextos da sociedade, é cada vez mais comum a utilização dessas mesmas tecnologias nos estabelecimentos de ensino. A pandemia da Covid-19 veio acelerar esse processo com o recurso ao ensino a distância. O e-learning tornou-se no novo ambiente de aprendizagens como forma de complemento do ensino presencial. Esta nova modalidade de ensino coloca grandes desafios quer aos professores quer aos alunos, confrontando-os com a necessidade de utilizarem de forma recorrente as tecnologias digitais e de encontrarem novas formas de ensinar e aprender nesse novo contexto, alterando a forma como nos relacionamos com a aprendizagem. Assim, é importante analisar as vantagens e as desvantagens que este tipo de ensino traz relativamente ao ensino tradicional. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo perceber como o e-learning está a ser implementado nas escolas, quais as expetativas e dificuldades com que se deparam as instituições de ensino, professores, alunos e encarregados de educação. São vários os estudos que se debruçaram sobre esta temática que visam refletir sobre as potencialidades e barreiras que o e-learning apresenta comparativamente aos métodos de ensino tradicionais. Como metodologia utilizamos a pesquisa bibliográfica, análise documental de revistas e artigos sobre esta temática bem como a análise de artigos da Web. A pesquisa efetuada leva-nos a concluir que a implementação do e-learning no caso do 1.º ciclo do ensino básico pode ser uma boa aposta no futuro. Sendo que, não substituindo o ensino presencial, será uma ferramenta muito útil para o complementar. Contudo, e tendo em conta a faixa etária dos alunos que frequentam este nível de ensino, percebemos que a grande barreira identificada é a pouca autonomia dos alunos. Não estão preparados para esta nova modalidade de ensino nem têm literacia digital suficiente para poderem tirar o máximo partido deste método de ensino. Portanto, consideramos que é fundamental capacitá- los para serem mais ativos na construção do seu próprio conhecimento, participativos e críticos no exercício da sua cidadania digital global, bem como para enfrentarem novos e constantes desafios. Concluímos, apresentando algumas propostas e/ou sugestões para a implementação do e-learning no 1.º ciclo do ensino básico. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | With the growing use of digital technologies in various contexts of society, it is increasingly common to use these same technologies in educational establishments. The Covid-19 pandemic accelerated this process with the use of distance learning. E- learning has become the new learning environment as a complement to classroom teaching. This new modality of teaching poses great challenges for both teachers and students, confronting them with the need to recurrently use digital technologies and to find new ways of teaching and learning in this new context, changing the way we relate to learning. Therefore, it is important to analyze the advantages and disadvantages that this type of education brings in relation to traditional education. This work aims to understand how e-learning is being implemented in schools, what are the expectations and what difficulties are faced by educational institutions, teachers, students, and guardians. There are several studies that have focused on this theme that aim to reflect on the potential/obstacles that this type of teaching presents in relation to traditional teaching methods. As a methodology, we used bibliographical research, document analysis of journals and articles on this topic, as well as the analysis of articles on the Web. The research carried out leads us to conclude that the implementation of e- learning in the case of the 1st cycle of basic education can be a good bet in the future. Since, not replacing face-to-face teaching, it will be a very useful tool to complement it. However, and considering the age group of students who attend this level of education, we realize that the major barrier identified is the low autonomy of students. They are not prepared for this new teaching modality, nor do they have enough digital literacy to be able to take full advantage of this teaching method. Therefore, we consider it essential to train them to be more active in building their own knowledge, participatory and critical in the exercise of their global digital citizenship, as well as to face new and constant challenges. We conclude by presenting some proposals and/or suggestions for the implementation of e-learning in basic education. | pt_PT |
