Uma plataforma web de formação para a AABr em tempos de pandemia

| dc.description.abstract | A Federação Portuguesa de Atletismo conta com 22 associações regionais e um painel de 1400 treinadores com título válido, para um total de 1978 clubes e 18392 atletas, que, face à obrigatoriedade legal e à recente situação pandémica, passou a ser premente uma intervenção digital no âmbito formativo. Neste contexto, o ensino não presencial e as plataformas de apoio formativo em modalidade de e(b)-learning assumem um papel preponderante no crescimento da estrutura técnica e situações de intervenção técnicopedagógica. Parecia ser necessário avaliar a importância da utilização de um ambiente de aprendizagem virtual, baseado numa plataforma de e-learning, para dinamizar um conjunto de situações de aprendizagem online que favorecessem a construção de conhecimento por treinadores em formação. Do exposto, o presente resumo corresponde ao resultado de uma dissertação de mestrado em Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação na Educação e Formação do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança. Previamente à utilização da plataforma de formação AABr-e (E-learning da Associação de Atletismo de Bragança), a mesma foi planeada e desenvolvida para disponibilizar conteúdos interativos ou objetos de aprendizagem (e-formação). Os objetivos desta investigação foram: (1) estudar e selecionar uma solução para a promoção e divulgação do atletismo e a formação na modalidade de elearning, baseada num Content Management System (CMS) e num Learning Management System (LMS); (2) instalar e implementar a solução CMS e LMS mais adequada de acordo com os requisitos e especificações identificadas; (3) avaliar a solução com o intuito de perceber como os formandos interagem com a plataforma na aquisição de conhecimento através de conteúdos produzidos e disponibilizados em modalidade LMS para a formação de atletismo; (4) perceber se a utilização da plataforma instalada contribuiu para a melhoria da qualidade e atratividade do processo formativo do treinador. Em suma, a investigação correspondeu a dois momentos: (1) planeamento, desenvolvimento e utilização de uma plataforma de divulgação e formação desportiva; (2) avaliação da solução através de um estudo de caso para aferir a sua validade junto dos treinadores da AABr. Com esta investigação pretendeu-se dar resposta às questões: (1) A plataforma Chamilo contribui para a divulgação e a formação a ser usada na modalidade de e(b)-learning no contexto de uma Associação de Atletismo? (2) Como os formandos/treinadores interagem com a plataforma na aquisição de conhecimento através de conteúdos disponibilizados para a formação? (3) A utilização da plataforma contribui para a melhoria da qualidade e atratividade do processo formativo do treinador? Para tal, foram definidos os seguintes objetivos e alcançados os correspondentes resultados: (a) identificar e especificar os requisitos que levassem à implementação da CMS e da LMS; (b) identificar e explorar a CMS e LMS que melhor se adequassem aos requisitos; (c) instalar, configurar e utilizar as plataformas CMS e LMS escolhidas; (d) Disponibilizar conteúdo interativo e identificar dificuldades e constrangimentos na utilização da plataforma e conteúdos, bem como na interação com formandos/treinadores; (e) Analisar a perceção dos formandos/treinadores através de um estudo de caso para avaliar a utilização e exploração da plataforma de e-formação. A exploração do website e da plataforma de e-learning para a AABr permitiram obter resultados no processo de avaliação muito favoráveis, nomeadamente: (i) Interesse generalizado para adoção da plataforma de e-formação AABr-e, apesar da necessidade formativa para técnicos que trabalham na jurisdição da AABr; (ii) Funcionalidades mais valorizadas: percurso de aprendizagem, videoconferência e chat; (iii) Excelentes interesse e motivação para a utilização da plataforma, aferindo a sua adequabilidade para esta associação. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The FPA has 22 regional associations and a panel of 1400 coaches with a valid title, for a total of 1978 clubs and 18392 athletes, so, given the legal obligation and the actual pandemic situation, a digital intervention in the training field is urgent. In this context, non-classroom teaching and platforms for formative support in the e(b)-learning modality assume a preponderant role in the growth of the technical structure and situations of technical-pedagogical intervention. It seemed necessary to assess the importance of using a virtual learning environment, based on an e-learning platform, to streamline a set of online learning situations that supported the construction of knowledge by training coaches. From the above, this abstract corresponds to the result of a master's dissertation in Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Training at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. Prior to the use of the AABr-e training platform (E-learning from the Athletics Association of Bragança), it was planned and developed to provide interactive content or learning objects (e-training). The objectives of this investigation were: (1) to study and select a solution for the promotion and dissemination of athletics and training in the e-learning modality, based on a Content Management System (CMS) and a Learning Management System (LMS); (2) install and implement the most appropriate CMS and LMS solution according to the identified requirements and specifications; (3) evaluate the solution in order to understand how the trainees interact with the platform in the acquisition of knowledge through content produced and made available in LMS for athletics training; (4) understand if the use of the installed platform contributed to improving the quality and attractiveness of the coach's training process. In short, the investigation corresponded to two moments: (1) planning, development and use of a platform for dissemination and sports training; (2) evaluation of the solution through a case study to check its validity with the AABr coaches. The aim of this investigation was to answer the questions: (1) Does the Chamilo platform contribute to the dissemination and training to be used in the e(b)-learning modality in the context of an Athletics Association? (2) How do trainees / coaches interact with the platform in the acquisition of knowledge through content available for training? (3) Does the use of the platform contribute to improving the quality and attractiveness of the coach's training process? To this end, the following objectives were defined and the corresponding results were achieved: (a) identify and specify the requirements that would lead to the implementation of the CMS and the LMS; (b) identify and exploit the CMS and LMS that best fit the requirements; (c) install, configure and use the chosen CMS and LMS platforms; (d) Provide interactive content and identify difficulties and constraints in the use of the platform and content, as well as in the interaction with trainees / coaches; (e) Analyze the perception of the trainees / coaches through a case study to evaluate the use and exploitation of the e-training platform. The exploration of the website and the e-learning platform for AABr allowed to obtain very favorable results in the evaluation process, namely: (i) General interest in adopting the AABr-e e-training platform, despite the training need for technicians who work in the jurisdiction of AABr; (ii) Most valued features: learning path, video conference and chat; (iii) Excellent interest and motivation for using the platform, assessing its suitability for this association. | pt_PT |
