O principal objetivo deste trabalho pauta-se por compreender de que forma os vestígios arqueo-lógicos permitem validar, ou não, alguns aspetos lendários relativos aos Mouros, em Portugal. Procede-se à análise de algumas lendas etiológicas e dos sítios arqueológicos com as quais se podem relacionar, tentando compreender microterritórios com base na ideia de que a paisagem é algo orgânico, que funciona como uma rede de lugares que se revelam a partir das práticas quotidianas das comunidades.
The main purpose of this work is to understand how the archaeological remains allow us to validate, or not, some legendary aspects related to the Moors in Portugal. My analysis is based on some etiological legends and archaeological sites with which they can be related, trying to understand micro territories based on the idea that the landscape is something organic, that works as a network of places revealed from the communities’ daily practices.
