Abstract(s)

The present work proposes to promote through the urban garden the concept of community gardens as a space for reflection and interaction on sustainable development and environmental education. In view of this, we proposed to analyze the urban garden of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. The purpose of this analysis was to understand the dynamics of this project developed through a survey and to understand if the participants proposed to adopt an organic agriculture. We also tried to understand if urban gardens can function as laboratories of environmental education and be understood as community development tools, meeting the 2030 agenda of sustainable development goals
