Abstract(s)
O presente projeto busca ter relevância na área acadêmica e industrial, pois visa compreender a importância de projetos extracurriculares durante a graduação, se aprofundando no projeto Baja SAE e sendo uma base para acadêmicos envolvidos na área. Tendo como motivação deste trabalho a possibilidade de o mesmo ser referência tanto para projetos acadêmicos quanto para industriais, elevando a qualidade, desempenho e segurança na área. Para isso realiza um estudo de caso com o objetivo projetar um sistema de direção para veículos off-road, em especial protótipos Baja SAE e realizar uma análise seguida de proposta de geometria de direção. A partir de ferramentas de criação e qualidade serão obtidos todos os requisitos desejados e necessários para a elaboração dos dados de entrada, além disso todos dimensionamentos seguem normas de engenharia e parâmetros reais obtidos a partir de uma equipe brasileira e trabalhos na área. Para garantir a confiabilidade dos dimensionamentos, estes utilizaram métodos matemáticos a partir de modelos já validados pela engenharia. Em acréscimo, efetuou-se uma análise do comportamento direcional dos protótipos anteriormente desenvolvidos pela equipe em estudo de caso com o intuito de encontrar os problemas originados pela geometria de direção e os corrigir. Por fim é analisado a coerência dos resultados obtidos com a realidade do mercado e o alcance dos objetivos pré-determinados no trabalho. Isso permitirá concluir que a dissertação obteve um resultado aceitável e coeso.
This project seeks to have relevance in the academic and industrial area, since it understands the importance of extracurricular projects during graduation, to deepen in the Baja SAE project and to be a base for academics involved in the area. Having as motivation of this work the possibility of being the same reference, both for academic and industrial projects, raising the quality, performance and safety in the area. To carry out a case study in order to design a steering system for off-road vehicles, in particular Baja SAE prototypes and perform an analysis followed by the proposed steering geometry. Based on creation and quality tools, all the desirable and necessary requirements for the creation of input data, in addition, all the designs follow engineering standards and real tests, from a Brazilian team and work in the area. To guarantee the design requirements, these mathematical methods are used from models already validated by engineering. In addition, an analysis of the directional behavior of the prototypes was previously carried out, applied by the case study team in order to find problems originated by the direction and correction geometry. Finally, the consistency of the results obtained with the market reality and the achievement of pre-selected objectives at work is analyzed. This concludes that a registered dissertation is an acceptable and consistent result.
