O presente relatório consiste no dimensionamento de um sistema híbrido de produção de energia para dessalinização de água, interligado à rede pública (da ELECTRA, S.A.).
Para a realização do projeto teve-se que estudar a disponibilidade dos recursos eólicos e fotovoltaicos, de modo a perceber se existe a possibilidade de implementação do sistema.
Entretanto, percebido o potencial dos recursos disponíveis, em particular na ilha São Vicente, fez-se o dimensionamento em função das tecnologias existentes no mercado, para possível implementação nos locais mais apropriados.
Deu-se ênfase no estudo económico e ambiental, o que permitiu observar que o sistema perfeitamente viável e mais vantajosa para o nosso ambiente, permitindo que Cabo Verde atinge as metas traçadas.
This report consists of the dimensioning of a hybrid energy production system for water desalination, interconnected to the public grid (from ELECTRA, S.A.). To carry out the project, it was necessary to study the availability of wind and photovoltaic resources, in order to see if there is a possibility of implementing the system. However, once the potential of the available resources was perceived, particularly on the island of São Vicente, a dimensioning was carried out based on existing technologies in the market, for possible implementation in the most appropriate locations. Emphasis was placed on the economic and environmental study, which allowed us to observe that the system is perfectly viable and more advantageous for our environment, allowing Cape Verde to reach the outlined goals.
