As vias de comunicação e, em particular, a rede rodoviária consiste em uma
infra-estrutura de extrema relevância para o desenvolvimento econômico de qualquer
país, desta forma e necessário que a mesma mantenha um nível de qualidade e
segurança de modo a garantir condições básicas para sua utilização.
Neste âmbito surge a necessidade da reabilitação de pavimentos degradados,
sendo necessário a utilização de matérias e metodologias de construção que visem o
melhor resultado com o menor impacto possível, sendo ele do ponto de vista econômico
e também ambiental, sendo o segundo um quesito em forte crescimento o que acaba por
exigir uma maior sensibilidade do projetista em relação as técnicas construtivas
tradicionais.
Com isso, o presente trabalho pretende apresentar um estudo aprofundado sobre
a reabilitação de pavimentos rodoviários flexíveis baseada em técnicas de reciclagem de
pavimentos, tentando explicitar as principais fases do processo construtivo juntamente
com a determinação das principais variáveis que influenciam na determinação da
utilização deste tipo de técnica em ascendente crescimento na área da pavimentação.
Nesta dissertação também são apresentados os diferentes tipos de técnica de
reciclagem de pavimentos flexíveis, detalhando suas características, materiais
utilizados, vantagens e desvantagens e todas as etapas de um projeto de reabilitação de
uma via degradada, culminando em uma reflexão sobre a viabilidade da utilização da
reciclagem de pavimentos em um pavimento deteriorado.

In this context arises the need of rehabilitation of degraded floors, being necessary the use of materials and methods of construction aimed at the best result at the lowest possible impact, from an economic point of view and also environmental, the second a question in strong growth which turns out to require a greater sensitivity of the designer regarding the traditional construction techniques. With that, the present paper seeks to present an in-depth study on the rehabilitation of flexible road pavements based on recycling techniques, trying to spell out the main stages of the construction process along with the determination of the main variables that influence the determination of the use of this type of technique in ascendant growth in the area of the flooring. In this dissertation are also presented the different types of recycling technique of flexible pavements, detailing its characteristics, materials used, pros and cons and all stages of a rehabilitation project of a degraded pathway, Culminating in a reflection on The viability of the use of pavement recycling on deteriorated pavements.
