Devido à inexistência de uma conceptualização compreensível acerca da organização proliferam inúmeras interpretações acerca do significado de eficácia, tornando-se necessário distingui-la de outros conceitos. Para além disso, apresentam-se as dimensões de eficácia contidas em cada um dos quadrantes do Modelo dos Valores Competitivos que permite colocar alguma ordem na confusão gerada pela dificuldade em descrever e quantificar a eficácia organizacional.
This article explores organizational effectiveness. Given the controversy associated to the concept that results of the inexistence of comprehensible conceptualization of the organization, becomes necessary to distinguish effectiveness of other concepts. Finally, the effectiveness dimensions contained in each quadrant of the Competitive Values Model are presented. With this model some order is put in the confusion generated by the difficulty associated to organizational effectiveness description and quantification
