| dc.description.abstract | A produção científica é o resultado do trabalho de pesquisa realizado por investigadores, em diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Esta produção inclui artigos, teses, dissertações, livros, relatórios, patentes e outros tipos de documentos que descrevem os resultados de experiências, análises e estudos realizados num determinado campo. É avaliada por especialistas da mesma área científica, por meio do processo de revisão por pares. Após este processo a produção científica é publicada em revistas científicas, conferências, etc. A qualidade e a relevância da produção científica são medidas pelas citações recebidas por outros autores e noutras publicações científicas e ainda pelo impacto que têm no avanço do conhecimento. Pesquisou-se a produção científica existente nas bases de dados bibliométricas: Scopus e Web of Science e noutras bases de dados como: B-on, RCAAP, Biblioteca Digital do IPB. Pesquisou-se ainda nas plataformas Academia.edu e ResearchGate, que são plataformas onde se juntam investigadores e se criam redes de investigação. Finalmente pesquisou-se no Google Académico. Nestas pesquisas foram utilizados os operadores booleanos AND, OR, NOT e aplicaram-se as palavras-chave: estudantinas, estudiantinas, tunas académicas e tunas universitárias. Verificou-se que o Google Académico registou a maior concentração de produção científica com 62% (1915 publicações) seguido da B-on com 36% (1095 publicações). Na Scopus e na Web of Science as publicações encontradas são residuais, tal como nas outras plataformas pesquisadas. Verificou-se, portanto, que a produção científica sobre as tunas ainda é muito reduzida, quando comparada com outras áreas científicas. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Scientific production is the outcome of the research work carried out by scientists, in different fields of knowledge. This production includes articles, theses, dissertations, books, reports, patents and other types of documents that describe the results of experiments, analyses and studies conducted in a given field. The scientific production is evaluated by experts from the same scientific area, through the peer review process. After this peer review process the scientific production is published in scientific journals, conferences, etc. The quality and relevance of the scientific production are measured by the citations received by other authors and in other scientific publications, and by the impact they have on the advance of knowledge. The existing scientific production in the bibliometric databases was researched: Socpus and Web of Science and other databases such as: B-on, RCAAP, Biblioteca Digital do IPB (IPB Digital Library). We also browsed the Academia.edu and ResearchGate platforms, which are platforms where researchers are connected, and research networks are created. Finally, we searched in Google Scholar. In these research studies the Boolean operators AND, OR, NOT was used, and the following keywords were applied: estudantinas, estudiantinas, academic tunas and university tunas. Google Academic was the most concentrated source of scientific production with 62% (1915 publications) followed by B-on with 36% (1095 publications). The publications found in Scopus and Web of Science are residual, as in the other researched platforms. Therefore, we verified that the scientific production about tunas is still very limited, when compared to other scientific areas. | pt_PT |
