Abstract(s)
Constitui-se como objetivo central desta comunicação apresentar o Programa de Promoção de Bem-Estar em Idade Escolar – Adolescência (PEBEPSI-A), que visa promover a Qualidade de Vida e o Sucesso Académico dos Adolescentes dos 2o e 3o Ciclos do Ensino Básico, estimulando a reflexão e a mudança de atitudes necessárias à aquisição e à otimização de competências pessoais e relacionais com vista ao desenvolvimento e à compreensão de fatores que influenciam os comportamentos e suas dinâmicas. A Escola deve ser um espaço alegre e seguro. Para uma Escola Saudável o bem-estar deve ser valorizado através de um trabalho positivo conjunto. O PEBEPSI-A é um programa que assenta numa abordagem do desenvolvimento da inteligência emocional onde a formação é defendida como condição do desenvolvimento de competências e valores do processo de tomada de decisão do ser humano ao longo da vida. Os adolescentes pensam e sentem de maneira diferente uns dos outros e apresentam necessidades psicológicas e emocionais distintas, onde as intervenções precoces podem diminuir efeitos adversos. O PEBEPSI-A focaliza-se essencialmente na operacionalização de fatores psicológicos e sociais com impacto ao nível da Educação e da Saúde. Estruturalmente, este programa compreende na sua construção pedagógica e num recorte específico, os módulos: autoconceito (s); autoestima; bem-estar intrapessoal, bem-estar interpessoal, autorregulação, otimismo, motivação, sucesso académico, autoeficácia e suporte social, eixos importantes da cognição e da afetividade que fundamentamos. Tendo por base o conhecimento construído acerca deste programa reflete-se, por fim, sobre as possibilidades de novos estudos e de novos contextos de implementação do mesmo no contexto de uma Educação Inclusiva.
The main objective of this article is to present the Program for the Promotion of Well-Being at School Age – Adolescence (PEBEPSI-A), which aims to promote the Quality of Life and Academic Success of Adolescents in the 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Basic Education, stimulating reflection and changing attitudes necessary for the acquisition and optimization of personal and relational skills with a view to developing and understanding factors that influence behavior and its dynamics. The School must be a happy and safe space. For a Healthy School, well-being must be valued through positive joint work. PEBEPSI-A is a program based on an approach to the development of emotional intelligence where training is defended as a condition for the development of skills and values in the decision-making process of human beings throughout life. Adolescents think and feel differently from each other and have different psychological and emotional needs, where early interventions can reduce adverse effects. PEBEPSI-A focuses essentially on the operationalization of psychological and social factors with an impact on Education and Health. Structurally, this program comprises, in its pedagogical construction and in a specific outline, the modules: self-concept(s); self esteem; intrapersonal well-being, interpersonal well-being, self-regulation, optimism, motivation, academic success, self-efficacy and social support, important axes of cognition and affectivity that we support. Based on the knowledge built about this program, it finally reflects on the possibilities of new studies and new contexts for its implementation in the context of an Inclusive Education
