A impressão 3D consiste num grupo de técnicas que reproduzem objetos em três dimensões. As
impressoras formam os modelos tridimensionais a partir de uma técnica de sobreposição de camadas
até formar uma peça, e quanto mais finas forem estas camadas, melhor fica a peça final. O percurso da
promotora na Licenciatura em Arte e Design, envolveu a frequência de unidades curriculares de
modelação 3D, nas quais era necessário desenvolver ideias, modelar objetos para potencializar os
projetos, sendo fundamental a construção de uma maquete. Assim, como resultado da falta de opções,
as modelações eram feitas através de softwares e as maquetes com materiais de trabalhos manuais,
que além de serem difíceis de manusear, também não eram precisos, tornando a tarefa de maquetizar
os projetos bastante complicada e pouco adequada. Por este motivo, a meio da licenciatura, foi feito um
investimento numa impressora 3D, que permitiu conseguir desenvolver maquetes e protótipos bastante
diferenciados dos anteriores. Para dar resposta a esta situação, surgiu a ideia para desenvolver esta
proposta, que consiste na criação da empresa denominada Design em Bragança, Unipessoal Lda., que
inicialmente irá trabalhar apenas com um gabinete de design, neste caso de Modelação e Impressão
3D. Esta secção da empresa vai oferecer três tipos de serviços, sendo que os clientes não precisam
obrigatoriamente de recorrer aos três. Este negócio centra-se na interação direta e acompanhamento
constante com o cliente, pois os produtos serão feitos por encomenda, de forma a produzir fisicamente
a ideia que cada um tem para o produto que idealizou. Em termos de viabilidade económica e financeira
o projeto apresenta indicadores satisfatórios uma vez que o VAL é de 29.702,29€, a TIR de 33% e o
Payback de 3 anos, 6 meses e 5 dias. É esperado, no futuro, que à medida que esta empresa se
desenvolva, sejam criados novos gabinetes de design, como por exemplo design de interiores,
ilustração, brand designer, ecodesign, web design, entre outros, de forma a conseguir dar resposta a
um maior número de potenciais clientes, assim como a criar novos postos de trabalho para profissionais
desta área, na cidade de Bragança

The thinner these layers are, the better the final piece. The promoter's journey through the Degree in Art and Design involved attending 3D modeling curricular units, in which it was necessary to develop ideas and model objects to enhance projects, with the construction of a model being essential. Thus, due to the lack of options, modeling was done using software, and models were made using manual work materials, which, in addition to being difficult to handle, were also not accurate, making modeling projects quite complicated and unsuitable. For this reason, halfway through the degree, an investment was made in a 3D printer, allowing us to develop models and prototypes that were quite different from the previous ones. To respond to this situation, the idea arose to develop this proposal, which consists of creating a Design company in Bragança Unipessoal Lda, which will initially work only with a design office, in this case 3D Modeling and Printing. This section of the company will offer three types of services; customers do not necessarily need to use all three. This business focuses on direct interaction and constant monitoring with the customer, as the products will be made to physically produce the idea that each person has for the product they have designed. Regarding economic and financial viability, the project shows satisfactory indicators since the NPV is €29,702.29, the IRR is 33%, and the Payback is 3 years, 6 months, and 5 days. It is expected, in the future, that as this company develops, new design offices will be created, such as interior design, illustration, brand designer, ecodesign, web design, among others, in order to be able to respond to a greater number of potential clients, as well as creating new jobs for professionals in this area, in the city of Bragança
