Abstract(s)
A pesquisa analisa como as tecnologias digitais têm transformado o processo de ensino e aprendizagem nas instituições de ensino superior em Moçambique, concretamente na Universidade Rovuma. Num contexto em que a educação enfrenta desafios significativos, como a falta de recursos e a necessidade de inovação pedagógica, oferecendo oportunidades para a qualidade do ensino. Será explorado aspectos como acessibilidade às plataformas digitais, a capacitação de professores e estudantes e as desigualdades no acesso à tecnologia. O estudo tem como objectivo principal analisar o impacto das tecnologias digitais no processo de ensino e aprendizagem no ensino superior em Moçambique, e especificamente: (i) Avaliar a integração das tecnologias digitais nas práticas pedagógicas nas instituições de ensino superior, (ii) Investigar a percepção de docentes e discentes sobre a eficácia das tecnologias digitais no processo de aprendizagem; (iii) Propor recomendações para a formação contínua de docentes e estudantes. A pesquisa é qualitativa, para a sua materialização, foram utilizados estudos de pesquisas recentes que abordam sobre o assunto. Foram discutidos os impactos da tecnologia na metodologia de ensino, destacando benefícios bem como a dificuldade de adaptação dos professores e a dependência das ferramentas digitais.
The research analyzes how digital technologies have transformed the teaching and learning process in higher education institutions in Mozambique, specifically at Rovuma University. In a context where education faces significant challenges—such as the lack of resources and the need for pedagogical innovation—digital technologies offer opportunities to enhance the quality of education. The study will explore aspects such as accessibility to digital platforms, the training of teachers and students, and inequalities in access to technology. The main objective of the study is to analyze the impact of digital technologies on the teaching and learning process in higher education in Mozambique, and specifically to: (i) Assess the integration of digital technologies into pedagogical practices in higher education institutions; (ii) Investigate the perceptions of teachers and students regarding the effectiveness of digital technologies in the learning process;(iii) Propose recommendations for the continuous training of teachers and students. This is a qualitative study. To support its implementation, recent research studies addressing the subject were used. The impacts of technology on teaching methodology were discussed, highlighting both the benefits and the challenges related to teachers’ adaptation and the dependence on digital tools.
