O pensamento computacional como capacidade matemática nas novas Aprendizagens Essenciais de Matemática: A emergência da algoritmia no 1.º ano de escolaridade

Neste artigo apresentamos uma sequência de tarefas, realizada no 1.º ano de escola-ridade, no âmbito das Aprendizagens Essenciais de Matemática do Ensino Básico (Canavarro et al., 2021). De forma integrada, promoveu-se o conhecimento matemático relativo ao valor posicional e o desenvolvimento da capacidade de pensamento computacional. Conclui-se que os alunos desenvolveram as cinco práticas do pensamento computacional, com relevo para a prática da algoritmia, e que estas contribuíram para o desenvolvimento do conhecimento matemático.
We present a sequence of tasks, carried out in the grade 1, within the scope of Math-ematics’ Curriculum of Basic Education (Canavarro et al., 2021). In an integrated way, mathematical knowledge related to positional value and the development of computational thinking capacity were promoted. It is concluded that the students developed the five practices of computational thinking, with emphasis on the prac-tice of algorithmics, and that these contributed to the development of mathematical knowledge.
