No transporte de mercadorias as condiƧƵes podem ser crĆticas para sua integridade. Como
no caso de mercadorias vivas, em que os danos causados podem ser irreversĆveis. A situaĆ§Ć£o
pode ser mais grave quando se trata de mercadorias de elevado valor, nomeadamente
Ćŗnicas, como Ć© o caso de obras de arte. Ć assim natural que a contratualizaĆ§Ć£o do serviƧo
de transporte, para determinados bens/mercadorias, seja feita em funĆ§Ć£o das condiƧƵes
que sĆ£o necessĆ”rias garantir. Tais condiƧƵes podem estar relacionadas com a temperatura,
humidade, luminosidade ou variaƧƵes de movimento. No entanto, a contratualizaĆ§Ć£o do
serviƧo nĆ£o garante que o mesmo seja feito em tais condiƧƵes, sendo por vezes impraticĆ”vel
para o cliente apurar imediatamente se tal aconteceu ou nĆ£o e se houveram danos
aos bens transportados. No que concerne Ć s transportadoras Ć© tambĆ©m importante ter
uma soluĆ§Ć£o sĆ³lida e substancial que permita comprovar ao cliente a qualidade do serviƧo
prestado. AtƩ porque muitas empresas subcontratam o serviƧo, podendo haver em
um mesmo procedimento vĆ”rias transportadoras envolvidas. Ć assim necessĆ”rio garantir
que o transporte Ʃ feito nas condiƧƵes pretendidas, pelas vƔrias entidades envolvidas
e, quando hĆ” violaĆ§Ć£o de tais condiƧƵes, ter forma de apurar de quem Ć© a responsabilidade.
O projeto envolve ainda uma forte componente de seguranƧa e de autenticaĆ§Ć£o que
valida que os dados recolhidos sĆ£o fidedignos. Esta componente foi implementada com
recurso Ć framework conceitual AAA (do inglĆŖs, Authentication, Authorization and Accounting)
e com medidas preventivas para ataques MITM (do inglĆŖs, Man-in-the-Middle).
In the transportation of goods, conditions may be critical to their integrity, specifically in the case of living goods because damages may be irreversible. The situation can be more aggravating when it comes to high-value goods, such as works of art. It is thus natural that the hiring of the transport service, for certain goods/merchandise be made according to the conditions that are necessary to ensure. Such conditions may be related to temperature, humidity, luminosity or variations in movement. However, the hiring of the service does not guarantee that it is done in such conditions, and it is sometimes impracticable for the customer to ascertain immediately if this happened or not and if there were damages to the goods transported. With regard to the provider of the transportation service, it is also important to have a solid and substantial solution that allows to prove the customers the quality of the service provided. Even because many companies subcontract the service, there may be in the same procedure several carriers involved. Faced with this fact, there is a need to ensure that transportation is carried out under the desired conditions, by the serveral entities involved and when there is a violation of such conditions, have a way of ascertaining who is the responsible. The project also involves a strong security and authentication component that certifies that the data collected is trustworthy. This component was implemented using the conceptual framework AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) and includes preventive measures for MITM (Man-in-the-Middle ).
