Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação de mestrado, em Administração Autárquica, tem como tema principal a
análise das intervenções e/ou participação dos munícipes nas Assembleias Municipais de
Cabo Verde. Este documento reporta-se às temáticas que dizem respeito a participação
cívica dos cidadãos. Os dados que foram recolhidos para esta análise são dados
pertencentes ao presente ano de mandato, que diz respeito ao ano de 2020/2024, que
através das atas e regimentos das Assembleias Municipais podemos analisar da melhor
forma as intervenções. Ao longo deste documento podemos perceber que abordamos sobre
bastantes assuntos, como por exemplo: primeiramente começamos por falar da
participação cívica em modo, mas amplo, das tipologias da mesma dos seus níveis,
objetivos, entre vários outros aspetos. Também debruçamos sobre o poder local de Cabo
Verde, para entender e/ou chegar mais perto do nosso objetivo do estudo. De seguida
desenvolvemos a metodologia utilizada para a investigação. Por fiz temos a parte dos
resultados, este resultado nos permite avaliar e considerar que a intervenção dos munícipes
é extremamente importante para o desenvolvimento da democracia Local. O trabalho
realizado permite concluir entender melhor o que leva os cidadãos e/ou munícipes a
intervirem nas reuniões, o motivo que os levam a isso.
The main theme of this master's dissertation in Local Government Administration is the analysis of citizens' interventions and/or participation in Cape Verde's Municipal Assemblies. This document deals with issues relating to citizens' civic participation. The data collected for this analysis is from the current year of office, which is 2020/2024, and through the minutes and regulations of the Municipal Assemblies we can better analyze the interventions. Throughout this document, we can see that we've covered quite a few subjects, such as: first, we start by talking about civic participation in a broad sense, its types, levels, objectives, and various other aspects. We also looked at local government in Cape Verde, to understand and/or get closer to our study objective. Next, we develop the methodology used for the research. Finally, we have the results, which allow us to evaluate and consider that the intervention of citizens is extremely important for the development of local democracy. The work carried out allows us to better understand what drives citizens and/or residents to intervene in meetings, and why they do so.
