    Vimioso is a rural region whose population is essentially agricultural. Emigration and rural exodus explain the dramatic desertification of the region. The population is currently mainly made up of elderly people. The birth rate is quite low in the county. Due to geographic distance and communicational isolation, the population needs interaction and understanding regarding their heath contexts. The development of health literacy is essential, so that the population can accept and understand the need to assume health promoting behaviors.

    Our challenge, aims to improve the living conditions and safety of young football players who arrive in Portugal to play football professionally and who challenge financial and social instability. To develop a computer/mobile application that work as a platform for players who have a support group, work proposals and legal information about transfers / inscriptions in the League. There would also be a system for players to speak freely and anonymously about their experiences with certain agents / clubs.

    Our Challenge: To increase knowledge about wine culture, so to simplify and to provide information faster and more effectively. Problem/Need description: Lack of knowledge of the common consumer about the culture of wine. Solution approach: To create simple posts (Did You Know That…) related to the knowledge and culture of wine. One exemple: "Did you know that 'Bica Aberta' means that: the grapes are crushed, the liquid is separated from the masses, and only the grape juice.

    The proposed action plan, of the co-creation challenge, aimed at increasing engagement and notoriety of a sports team, specifically focusing on attracting young people and diverse audiences. PROBLEM The core issue addressed is the lack of engagement leading to a decrease in relevance, motivation, and revenue streams for the team. The proposed solution includes a multi-faceted approach involving a digital marketing plan, organization of an open day, and hosting e-sports tournaments. These strategies are designed to bridge the gap between the younger population and the team, develop new revenue streams, engage e-sports players, and diversify into other sports. This initiative represents a significant step towards revitalizing the team's presence and appeal in a rapidly changingsports and entertainment landscape.

    No cenário da transição demográfica a solidão entre os idosos é uma preocupação social e de saúde pública premente. A solidão tem um efeito devastador na saúde física, mental e emocional dos idosos, impactando no bem-estar individual e na coesão social como um todo. Encontrar e promover estratégias de mitigação da solidão é essencial. Apresentamos uma síntese dessas estratégias.
  • A perceção do Assistente Social sobre o impacto da pandemia COVID-19 no processo de intervenção/acompanhamento no utente internado em UCCI

    Ao longo do último ano, com o surgimento da doença SARS-COV 2 assistimos a grandes alterações ao nível económico, social e sanitário. O setor social e da saúde foram afetados com as consequências da pandemia e as instituições e os seus profissionais foram obrigados a adaptar-se e a reinventar os seus modos de trabalho. Também em contexto de Unidade de Cuidados Continuados Integrados (UCCI) houve necessidade de adaptação. OBJETIVO: Conhecer de que forma o Assistente Social (AS) que trabalha em UCCI perceciona o impacto da COVID-19 no processo de intervenção e acompanhamento dos utentes. METODOLOGIA: Grupo focal, estudo qualitativo. Elaboração de guião: foram definidas as dimensões a abordar através de indicadores que resultam em perguntas-tipo. Entrevista orientada via Zoom a 5 AS a trabalhar em UCCI, que aceitaram participar, selecionados aleatoriamente, por contatos telefónicos. A análise de conteúdo foi efetuada através do MAXQDA. CONCLUSÕES: Os efeitos da pandemia COVID-19 permitiram manter as atividades com as devidas adaptações de segurança impostas. O teletrabalho não constituiu uma opção viável dada a presença constante deste profissional na unidade. Os efeitos da pandemia nas relações, apesar dos constrangimentos apresentados pela impossibilidade de contactar presencialmente com utentes e seus familiares, o trabalho presencial foi determinante para o estabelecimento de laços e ligações. Ao nível institucional a articulação com outras instituições e a comunidade teve efeitos decisivos para que a Rede e os seus utentes continuem a beneficiar da qualidade na continuidade dos cuidados.
