With the development of Information and Communication Technologies and their influence on society and everyday life, led the search for new ways to build relationships and create communities among people, creating virtual communities; turn social networks emerge as new forms of association that respond to more complex understanding of human interaction in a way that the wider community; these to promote your main goal, more integrated into the games as a tool of socialization. The impact of current games at various levels, as the social and economic development, and its applicability in various fields, it becomes important to analyze the contribution of the community. It is intended in this article, a description of the factors that motivate this research to a later stage to develop the proposed objectives: to analyze the new social reality and develop a model that allows adapting the health games to social games in order to foster the creation / sustainability of communities based on social networks, aiming to raise awareness of health issues, increasing knowledge and sharing of experiences of members of communities.

The complexity of the social organization evolved the concept of virtual community to social networks, exploring the establishment of ties and relations between people. These technological platforms provide a way to keep up with your connections network, through a set of communication and interaction tools. Games, as social interactive technologies have great potential, ensuring a supportive community, and thereby reducing the social isolation. Serious social health games bring forward several research challenges. This paper examines the potential benefits of the triad “health-serious games-social networks” and discusses some research challenges and opportunities of the liaison of serious health games and social networks.
- Desafios na formação de professores e nas escolas num mundo interconectado: uma conversa com e entre A. C. Cortez, N. Zagalo e S. PeraltaPublication . Cortez, António; Zagalo, Nelson; Peralta, Susana; Chumbo, IsabelO papel da tecnologia no âmbito educacional tem sido objeto de um debate considerável na atualidade. Uma abundância de literatura, composta por livros, artigos, estudos e intervenções públicas de especialistas em educação e tecnologia, tem contribuído para uma polarização de posições que não se coaduna com a necessidade de uma integração de ambas as vertentes, essencial para uma instituição de ensino que aspira ser integradora, holística e atualizada. A presente mesa-redonda apresentou ambas as perspetivas e sublinhou a imperatividade de encontrar um equilíbrio, que, simultaneamente, incorpore a tecnologia, mas assente primordialmente na figura do professor enquanto polarizador de um ambiente de ensino e aprendizagem saudável, propício ao diálogo eficiente com os alunos, frequentemente apelidados de nativos digitais. Ao longo desta sessão serão abordadas diversas questões de relevo, tais como a formação do corpo docente, o potencial transformador da internet, os efeitos do uso prolongado de ecrãs na capacidade de atenção, o porvir da tecnologia nas instituições de ensino, a presença da inteligência artificial, a (des)igualdade no acesso à educação num mundo alegadamente interconectado e os desafios do quotidiano enfrentados pelas escolas perante a realidade digital.
