- Educational technology based on virtual and augmented reality for students with learning disabilities: specific projects and applicationsPublication . Rodriguez Cano, Sonia; Delgado Benito, Vanesa; Gonçalves, VitorEducational technology is contributing towards diversity awareness as it allows you to create more personalized and student-centered learning situations. This chapter addresses specific learning difficulties (SpLD) and, specifically, dyslexia, since it is one of the most prevalent challenges in the educational field. It starts with a brief explanation of what dyslexia is and how it manifests itself. The report then goes on to describe the findings of a Delphi study on the use of technology in the treatment and support of dyslexic children. Finally, it includes a list of resources for students with dyslexia who need assistance with literacy.
