Abstract(s)
The steady increase in energy use across the globe forces society to seek alternatives to traditional sources of energy, since these are not only considered to be finite but also have a significant environmental impact. In this context, alternative forms of fuels that are renewable and ecologically sustainable are gaining notoriety. In this way, the article aims to present the raw material and products generated in a hydrogen and biodiesel production plant and, in addition, demonstrate how a cogeneration process has the potential to make this production even more sustainable and economical.
