Abstract(s)
As crianças nascidas na última década representam a primeira geração intrinsecamente
imbuída nas novas tecnologias. Os dispositivos móveis fazem parte do seu dia a dia, com um
uso crescente ao nível dos jogos, participação nas redes sociais e como ferramenta de
aprendizagem. É nesta última vertente que se deve debruçar mais a escola, potenciando as
aprendizagens suportadas pelas tecnologias digitais. A Realidade Aumentada como uma
tecnologia com grande potencial inovador, promovendo experiências com altos níveis de
motivação e possibilitando uma maior envolvência dos alunos. Neste estudo procuramos
caraterizar a Realidade Aumentada sob o ponto de vista conceptual, identificar as vantagens
do seu uso na Educação e fornecer algumas plataformas e aplicações que poderão ser usadas
por professores, em contexto de aprendizagem, para a promoção do sucesso educativo dos
seus alunos
