Resumo(s)
Este trabalho descreve o estudo de caso como estratégia de investigação. A compreensão
deste método, enquanto estratégia de investigação emergente, pode revelar-se para
investigadores que queiram estudar e inovar no campo educativo. Neste sentido,
descrevemos o posicionamento paradigmático desta metodologia e procuramos a sua
sistematização, descrevendo as suas características, tipologia, recolha e análise da
informação e, finalmente, o papel do investigador. This paper describes the case study as a research strategy. The understanding of this
method as an emerging approach may be considered useful by researchers wanting to
study and innovate in the field of education. We therefore describe the paradigmatic
placement of this methodology and seek to systematize its characteristics, typology, data
collection and analysis and, finally, the role of the researcher.
