e impacta no endividamento.
demonstraram.
The goal of this paper is to explore in which way the Perceived Social Status is related to the indebtedness. Four hypotheses were tested: i) individuals that reported less perceived social status ii) less education iii) female and iv) younger would present higher levels of indebtedness. It was used a questionnaire applied to 312 individuals, most of them living in the Great Porto area. To validate these hypotheses, a correlational analysis and a logit regression was used. The results seem to indicate that the perceived social status plays a significant role in the process of indebtedness also being related to over indebtedness. Of the remaining variables only the variable Sex didn’t have an association or explained indebtedness.
