Sheep farming has had a great socioeconomic value throughout time in the region of Trás-os-Montes. However,
deficient housing conditions are considered to be one of the causes of the low productivity levels of the region ́s
flocks. Previously, we have studied the buildings for sheep housing, aiming to identify the aspects that may be
considered as constraints or problems that can hinder the development of sheep farming. Last year, we carried
out a study to identify improvements of the working and production conditions in recently built sheep houses.
