Abstract(s)
O setor têxtil é uma atividade que em Portugal tem apresentado um crescimento sustentado em vendas nos mercados externos, como na América do Norte, na Escandinávia, África e Ásia, e que tem permitido abrir novos mercados de exportação, sendo que “este crescimento (…) deve-se à cooperação entre universidades, empresas e administração pública” (ATP, 2016).
Em qualquer organização quer seja pública ou privada torna-se necessário que os seus funcionários estejam satisfeitos com o papel que lá exercem. Sem haver o mínimo de satisfação por parte do mesmo o trabalho não será bem efetuado, pois um funcionário que esteja insatisfeito não vai trabalhar tanto como um funcionário que o esteja.
O setor têxtil, é um setor que tem estado num crescente desenvolvimento, cada vez mais em Portugal desde há bastantes anos, principalmente no distrito de Braga. Assim este estudo vai recair sobre este setor tão importante e que tem sido reconhecido internacionalmente.
Neste sentido, o presente estudo tem como objetivo a análise da satisfação dos trabalhadores do setor têxtil no Distrito de Braga, mais especificamente em quatro empresas. Dai o objetivo principal desta dissertação assentou em analisar o grau de satisfação dos funcionários do setor têxtil. O estudo recaiu sobre uma amostra de 200 funcionários das organizações escolhidas aleatoriamente. Dos resultados obtidos verificou-se que os colaboradores do setor têxtil estão satisfeitos com o seu trabalho em relação â dimensões mencionadas e quanto à satisfação em geral.
The textile sector is an activity that, in Portugal, has shown a sustained growth in sales in foreign markets, such as North America, Scandinavia, Africa and Asia, which has opened new export markets, and “this growth (…) is due to the cooperation between universities, companies and public administration” (ATP, 2016). In any organization, whether public or private, its employees must be satisfied with their role. Without the least satisfaction from it, the job will not be well done, as an employee who is dissatisfied will not work as much as an employee who is dissatisfied. The textile sector is a sector that has been in a growing development, increasingly in Portugal for many years, especially in the district of Braga. Thus, this study will fall on this important sector that has been internationally recognized. Thereby, the aim of this study is to analyze the satisfaction of textile workers in the district of Braga, more specifically in four companies. Hence, the main objective of this dissertation was to analyze the level of satisfaction of employees in the textile sector. This study covers a sample of 200 employees from randomly selected organizations. With the results obtained, it was found that the employees of the textile sector are satisfied with their work in relation to the mentioned dimensions and satisfaction in general.
