Nestes dois últimos anos o turismo deparou-se com uma dura realidade relacionada com o contexto pandémico, não só em Portugal, mas também no resto do mundo. Devido ao surgimento da COVID-19 o turismo ficou bastante parado pois com todas as restrições impostas pelos governos de todos os países o mundo ‘fechou portas’ e os turistas viram-se então obrigados a ficar nas suas respetivas residências sem conseguir viajar, não tendo assim a possibilidade de conhecer novas regiões. Como se sabe Portugal é um país que muito depende do turismo, mas que para sua vantagem tem um grande património tanto cultural como natural, especialmente a sua região nordeste que tão rica é em património e que em tempos ditos ‘normais’ era visitado por milhares de pessoas e viu-se obrigado a não receber visitantes, o que consequentemente levou a economia a parar nesse setor. Em tempos pré-pandemia o turismo no concelho de Vinhais estava em constante crescimento, crescimento este superior à média nacional. A região aposta muito no seu património cultural e natural pois estes são o seu maior ativo e por isso tornou-se necessário a criação de espaços dedicados a este, sendo eles centros de interpretação, museus ou até mesmo parques biológicos. O centro de interpretação em estudo será o Parque Biológico de Vinhais (PBV). O objetivo do presente trabalho de investigação assenta em analisar a satisfação dos visitantes com este centro de interpretação na situação atual de pós pandemia. A recolha de evidências foi efetuada por meio de um inquérito por questionário e respetiva análise de resultados. Da investigação desenvolvida foi possível identificar que na sua maioria os visitantes estão satisfeitos com a sua visita ao PBV, que a maior parte foi ao PBV na sequência de uma visita a Vinhais, que tomaram conhecimento do PBV por meios não habituais, que a maioria dos visitantes é do sexo masculino, que a maioria é de nacionalidade portuguesa, e que também a maioria tem entre 18 e 25 anos e o ensino secundário. Foi, ainda, possível observar que não existem evidências estatísticas suficientes para afirmar que existe uma associação entre as variáveis sociodemográficas e a satisfação global.
In the last two years, tourism has faced a harsh reality related to the pandemic context, not only in Portugal, but also in the rest of the world. Due to the emergence of COVID-19 tourism was quite stopped because with all the restrictions imposed by the governments of all countries the world 'closed doors' and tourists were then forced to stay in their respective residences without being able to travel, thus not having the possibility to know new regions. As we know, Portugal is a country that depends a lot on tourism, but to its advantage, it has a great heritage, both cultural and natural, especially it is northeaster region that is so rich in heritage and that in so-called 'normal' times was visited by thousands of people and was forced not to receive visitors, which consequently led the economy to stop in this sector. In pre-pandemic times tourism in the municipality of Vinhais was constantly growing, higher than the national average. The region bets a lot on its cultural and natural heritage because they are its greatest asset; therefore, it became necessary to create spaces dedicated to this, such as interpretation centres, museums or even natural parks. The interpretation centre under study will be the Biological Park of Vinhais (PBV). This research work aims to analyse visitors' satisfaction with this interpretation centre in the current post-pandemic situation. The collection of evidence will be done through a questionnaire survey and respective analysis of results. From the research carried out, it was possible to identify that most visitors are satisfied with their visit to the PBV, that most of them went to the PBV following a visit to Vinhais, who became aware of the PBV through unusual means, which most of the visitors are male, the majority are of Portuguese nationality, and the majority are between 18 and 25 years old and have secondary education. There was also possible that there is insufficient statistical evidence to state an association between socio-demographic variables and overall satisfaction.
