As organizações atualmente vêem-se obrigadas a estar em constante mudança no que diz respeito aos seus planos e formas de gestão, pelo que se torna necessário implementar medidas de competitividade de mercado cada vez mais atrativas para os seus atuais e eventuais colaboradores.
Neste sentido, realizou-se o presente estudo com o objetivo de verificar se os sistemas de recompensa se encontram relacionados com a satisfação com o trabalho em Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social (IPSS) no distrito de Bragança. Pretende-se, ainda, identificar o nível de satisfação dos colaboradores de cada IPSS em estudo e identificar os determinantes da justiça organizacional. Para tal, a metodologia utilizada neste estudo foi de cariz quantitativo, tendo-se recorrido à aplicação de um inquérito por questionário a 11 IPSS do Distrito de Bragança, obtendo-se uma amostra final de 190 questionários. O inquérito baseou-se no instrumento de avaliação da satisfação no trabalho, Generic Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) desenvolvido por Spector (1994) e as questões relacionadas com a justiça organizacional relativamente aos sistemas de recompensa da sua organização propostas por Colquitt (2001).
As principais conclusões que podem ser retiradas é que a grande maioria dos inquiridos são do sexo feminino (n=177; 93,2%), quanto às idades, esta apresenta uma média de 43,24 anos, observando-se uma grande dispersão de idades, com maior expressão para o grupo etário de 51 anos ou mais. Existe uma relação positiva entre os sistemas de recompensa e a satisfação com o trabalho, foram identificadas as variáveis que influenciam os níveis de satisfação e justiça organizacional, sendo elas a variável IPSS, categoria profissional, tipo de contrato e Habilitações Académicas.
Organisations today are forced to be constantly changing concerning their plans and forms of management, the implementation of measures of market competitiveness, increasingly attractive to their current and future employees, is necessary. In this regard, the aim of the present study was to verify if the reward systems are related to the satisfaction in working at an Instituições Particulares de Solidariedade Social (IPSS) in the district of Bragança. The aim is also to identify the satisfaction of the employees of every IPSS that was studied and to identify the determinants of organizational justice. For that, the methodology used in this study had a quantitative nature, resorting to the application of an inquiry through a questionnaire to 11 IPSS of the district of Bragança. A final sample of 190 questionnaires was obtained. The inquiry was based on the instrument of evaluation of job satisfaction, Generic Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS), developed by Spector (1994), and the aspects related to the organizational justice, when it comes to the organization’s reward systems, proposed by Colquitt (2001). The main outcomes that can be withdrawn are that the main respondents are female (n=177; 93.2%). When it comes to age, the average is 43.24 years. We see a big scatter of ages, with bigger manifestation in the age group of 51 years or more. There is a positive link between reward systems and job satisfaction. The variables that influence the levels of satisfaction and organizational justice were identified; they are the IPSS variable, professional category, type of contract and academic qualifications.
