dc.description.abstractEste trabalho enquadra-se no âmbito de um projeto Eramus+, designado por Training University Teachers for the Inclusion of People with Intellectual Disabilities (TUT4IND), no qual investigadores de diversos países europeus procuram construir conhecimento com a intencionalidade de (re)pensar as necessidades formativas de professores que pretendam trabalhar com alunos de necessidades especiais, em contexto de ensino superior. Neste registo, o objetivo central deste trabalho consubstancia-se em elaborar uma perspetiva histórica do quadro legal da inclusão em Portugal, num marco temporal iniciado em abril de 1974 até ao momento presente. Nesse sentido, o paradigma de investigação que sustenta este trabalho integra-se numa perspetiva hermenêutica, utilizando metodologias de interpretação qualitativa e multidimensional dos problemas equacionados que assenta num trabalho de heurística e análise documental. Partiu-se de uma leitura reflexiva e diacrónica dos documentos legais enquadradores da realidade educativa portuguesa referentes à inclusão, privilegiando uma plêiade de autores portugueses, cujo pensamento crítico é sobejamente reconhecido pela comunidade científica, nacional e internacional, no domínio da problemática em estudo. Em termos de resultados preliminares é, desde já, possível concluir que, em Portugal, o processo legislativo, além de profícuo, concebeu e aplicou normativos inovadores que claramente manifestam o respeito pela pluralidade e diversidade dos alunos com necessidades especiais, incluindo-os no sistema educativo e aperfeiçoando os dispositivos legais, de forma a que a inclusão seja efetiva e salvaguarde os direitos e a dignidade humana, independentemente, dos múltiplos fatores e circunstâncias.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThis work is part of an Eramus+ project, called Training University Teachers for the Inclusion of People with Intellectual Disabilities (TUT4IND), in which researchers from different European countries seek to build knowledge with the intention of (re) thinking the training needs of higher education teachers. The Project aims to support these teachers in building skills to work with students with special needs, in the context of higher education. In this regarding, the central objective of this work is to elaborate a historical perspective of the legal framework of inclusion in Portugal, in a time frame that started in April 1974 until the present moment. In this sense, the research paradigm that sustains this work is integrated in a hermeneutic perspective, using qualitative and multidimensional interpretation methodologies of the equated problems that is based on a work of heuristics and documental analysis. It started from a reflexive and diachronic reading of the legal documents that framed the Portuguese educational reality regarding inclusion, privileging a plethora of Portuguese authors, whose critical thinking is widely recognized by the scientific community, national and international, in the domain of the problem under study. In terms of preliminary results, it is now possible to conclude that, in Portugal, the legislative process, in addition to being fruitful, conceived and applied innovative norms that clearly show respect for the plurality and diversity of students with special needs, including them in the educational system and perfecting legal provisions, so that inclusion is effective and safeguards human rights and dignity, regardless of multiple factors and circumstances.pt_PT
