O Cyberbullying nas redes sociais: um problema de todos?

| dc.description.abstract | O crescimento exponencial da Web 2.0 contribuiu de forma significativa para o aumento do número da oferta de tecnologias e/ou serviços como, por exemplo, as redes sociais que são atualmente utilizadas por centenas de milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo. No entanto, pelas mudanças que continuadamente assistimos nos demais palcos sociais e tecnológicos, verifica-se que estas tecnologias podem e devem ser utilizadas de uma forma mais controlada e com base num conjunto de princípios baseados no respeito pelos indivíduos, na liberdade de expressão e escolha e, claro, na ética. Assim, em resultado de uma pesquisa exploratória sobre este tema, considera-se importante estudar o cyberbullying no contexto da utilização das redes sociais. A opção pelo tema tem que ver com o debate de que atualmente é alvo quer na sociedade em geral quer na comunidade científica em particular, pelo que considerando a importância desta problemática, essencialmente, nos adolescentes, no ambiente familiar e na escola, torna-se fundamental um estudo aprofundado que contribua de forma cabal para a identificação de pedagogias que permitam limitar ou reduzir o número de ocorrências desta prática no âmbito da utilização das redes sociais, mais concretamente, do Facebook. Assim, no presente estudo, pretende-se realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura que permita responder de forma clara à seguinte questão de investigação: Que pedagogias podem ser adotadas para reduzir a prática do cyberbullying entre os adolescentes? A revisão sistemática da literatura será efetuada com recurso a uma pesquisa exploratória em algumas bases de dados, tais como, o RCAAP, Scielo e Google Scholar de artigos científicos, dissertações e teses de doutoramento. Os resultados sugerem a necessidade de um maior investimento na formação docente, dotando-os de estratégias de avaliação e intervenção na prevenção do cyberbullying. Para além deste aspeto, os resultados preliminares apontam para a necessidade do controlo da família no uso das redes sociais pelos adolescentes. Também a investigação no uso efetivo das tecnologias é igualmente importante para que, deste modo, se consiga limitar as atitudes e comportamentos dos adolescentes para a utilização correta das redes sociais. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The exponential growth of Web 2.0 has contributed significantly to the increase in the number of technologies and/or services as, for example, social networks that are currently used by hundreds of millions of people around the world. However, due to the continuing changes we have seen on the other social and technological stages, these technologies can and must be used in a more controlled way and on the basis of a set of principles based on respect for individuals, freedom of expression and choice and, of course, ethics. Thus, as a result of an exploratory research on this theme, it is considered important to study cyberbullying in the context of the use of social networks. The choice of subject has to do with the debate that is currently being targeted both in society and in the scientific community in particular, and therefore considering the importance of this problem, essentially, in adolescents, in the family environment and at school, an in-depth study is essential to contribute fully to the identification of pedagogies enabling the number of occurrences of this practice to be limited or reduced in the use of social networks, more specifically, on Facebook. Thus, in the present study, it is intended to perform a systematic review of the literature that allows a clear answer to the following research question: What pedagogies can be adopted to reduce the practice of cyberbullying among adolescents? The review of the literature systematics will be carried out using an exploratory research in some databases, such as RCAAP, Scielo and Google scholar of scientific articles, dissertations and doctoral theses. The results suggest the need for greater investment in teacher training, providing them with evaluation strategies and intervention in the prevention of cyberbullying. Besides this aspect, preliminary results point to the need of family control in the use of social networks by adolescents. Also, research into the effective use of technologies is equally important to be able to limit the attitudes and behaviors of adolescents in the correct use of social networks. | pt_PT |
