Stopit: bullying no ensino básico: um instrumento para a formação de professores

| dc.description.abstract | Em tempos adversos como os que atravessamos atualmente, a educação parece ser um dos setores aos quais mais transmutações são solicitadas, nomeadamente a alteração da tipologia do ensino presencial para o ensino totalmente online, durante períodos de confinamento. As tecnologias digitais suportam este modelo através das aplicações e serviços utilizados pelos professores para a criação, disseminação, apresentação e avaliação dos conteúdos educativos sobre as unidades curriculares obrigatórias e outros temas da cidadania que tanta atenção carecem. Neste contexto, o tema do bullying foi escolhido como mote para a criação de um curso online que correspondesse às necessidades de formação sobre esta temática. O crescimento exponencial do bullying na sociedade, em particular, nos ambientes online, exige que este tipo de formação seja urgente para os professores e restantes intervenientes no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, mas também, nas mais variadas dimensões da vida dos alunos. A criação de um curso online, na tipologia de Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC), parece ser uma das formas mais dinâmicas e pertinentes para alertar, informar e prevenir o bullying, especialmente, no atual contexto pandémico em que o mundo vive. Desenvolvido o curso StopIT - bullying no ensino básico, pretende-se agora realizar um estudo de caso, com instrumentos qualitativos e quantitativos, como metodologia para o desenvolvimento da atual pesquisa. A abordagem qualitativa corresponde a uma revisão sistemática da literatura (RSL) sobre os MOOC como forma de informar e prevenir o bullying. Esta RSL incidiu num intervalo de pesquisa de 2010 a 2020 nas línguas portuguesa, inglesa e espanhola. Enquanto que a abordagem quantitativa consubstancia-se na avaliação do curso MOOC através de um questionário baseado num outro da Direção- Geral da Educação (DGE) usado no curso de formação online "Bullying e Ciberbullying: Prevenir & Agir (II)", tendo em consideração as necessidades de avaliação específicas deste curso MOOC StopIT.Com suporte nesta metodologia, pretende-se responder de forma clara e objetiva às seguintes questões de investigação: De que forma este tipo de formação contribuí para a formação de professores? Que características podemos acrescentar no sentido de melhorar/inovar a estrutura dos MOOC no ensino? Conseguirá este curso contribuir para a mudança de paradigma do ensino do bullying nas escolas? Os resultados preliminares da investigação evidenciam que existe um vasto conjunto de informação sobre bullying, bem como uma oferta considerável de cursos em tipologia MOOC sobre essa temática. O problema reside na parca existência desses cursos em português e que sejam expressamente direcionados para professores do ensino básico. De um modo geral, pretende-se que o MOOC contribua para a literacia dos docentes nesta área, nomeadamente através da sua disponibilização aos professores em geral que, posteriormente, se poderão inscrever numa ação de curta duração (ACD) a promover no primeiro trimestre de 2021 e orientada para o ensino aplicado às questões sociais e à promoção dos cursos MOOC como instrumento indispensável para a formação profissional. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | In adverse times such as the ones we are currently experiencing, education seems to be one of the sectors to which more transmutations are requested, namely the change of the typology from classroom to online teaching, during periods of confinement. Digital technologies support this model through the applications and services used by teachers for creation, dissemination, presentation, and evaluation of educational content on compulsory curricular units and other citizenship topics that so much need attention. In this context, the theme of bullying was chosen as the motto for the creation of an online course that would correspond to the training needs on this theme. The exponential growth of bullying in society, particularly in online environments, requires that this type of training be urgent for teachers and other actors in the teaching-learning process, but also in the most varied dimensions of students' lives. The creation of an online course, in the typology of Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC), seems to be one of the most dynamic and pertinent ways to alert, inform and prevent bullying, especially in the current pandemic context in which the world lives. Developed the course Stopit - bullying in basic education, it is now intended to carry out a case study, with qualitative and quantitative instruments, as a methodology for the development of current research. The qualitative approach corresponds to a systematic literature review (SLR) on MOOCs as a way to inform and prevent bullying. This RSL focused on a research interval from 2010 to 2020 in the Portuguese, English, and Spanish languages. While the quantitative approach is embodied in the evaluation of the MOOC course through a questionnaire based on another of the Directorate-General for Education (DGE) used in the online training course "Bullying and Cyberbullying: Prevent & Act (II) "taking into account the specific evaluation needs of this MOOC Stopit course. Based on this methodology, it is intended to answer clearly and objectively the following research questions: How does this type of training contribute to teacher training? What characteristics can we add to improve/innovate the structure of Moocs in education? Will this course contribute to changing the paradigm of teaching bullying in schools? The preliminary results of the investigation show that there is a wide range of information on bullying, as well as a considerable offer of courses in MOOC typology on this subject. The problem lies in the limited existence of these courses in Portuguese and which are expressly directed to teachers in primary education. In general, the MOOC is intended to contribute to the literacy of teachers in this area, in particular by making it available to teachers in general who may later register for a short-term action (STA) training to be promoted in the first quarter of 2021 and oriented towards education applied to social issues and the promotion of MOOC courses as an indispensable tool for vocational training | pt_PT |
