Abstract(s)
Educação Pré-Escolar (EPE) e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (CEB).
pois descobre, inventa e aprende.
diversos recursos didáticos, desafiando as crianças à ação.
The present report shows all the process of pedagogical action carried out in the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), inserted in the study plan of the master’s course in Preschool Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. We chose to follow an investigative line including the theme of the use of didactic resources in the approach to the contents inherent to the area of knowledge of the world. It started from the idea that didactic resources, used in various educational contexts, are fundamental for the construction of knowledge about the world. The use of images, videos, posters, maps, and practical activities, for example, facilitates the understanding, analysis, and interpretation of children. The manipulation and exploitation of various teaching resources offer greater opportunities for the child to develop while experimenting, as he discovers, invents, and learns. It is therefore important that it has at its disposal a wide range and rich of different resources and can handle them freely, alone or in groups. Throughout pes, we sought to provide teaching and learning experiences that promoted the exploration and manipulation of various teaching resources, challenging children to action. Thus, it tried to understand how the various teaching resources can sustain and contribute positively to the children's learning and, consequently, to the knowledge of the world around them. Qualitative research was carried, of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education with a group of eighteen children, that attended the second year of school, at last, in Preschool with a group of twenty-one preschool children aged three and six years Participant observation, field notes, photographs, inquiries, and check tables were used. Data analysis indicates that the manipulation and use of various teaching resources lead to greater motivation and commitment to the performance of activities, contributing to significant learning in different knowledge areas.
