dc.description.abstractIn this chapter, the authors explore how organizational shared norms and values affect employee satisfaction. Evidence indicates that a positive organizational culture, well- aligned with employee values, increases job satisfaction and organizational performance, highlighting the importance of employee alignment, adaptability, and engagement for organizational effectiveness. The study was conducted in a private institution of social solidarity. The FOCUS questionnaire was used to assess organizational culture, and the Generic Job Satisfaction Scale was used to measure job satisfaction. The results revealed that supportive cultures and innovation are strongly associated with higher job satisfaction. The research concludes that investing in an organizational culture that values human development and promotes inno ation is essential to increase employee satisfaction and engagement, contributing to the success and sustainability of the organization.por
