Human-robot collaborative creativity (HRCC) is a new way to mix human gut feelings, emotions, and smart planning with robots’ accuracy and computing power. This helps in creative work like art, making things, and teaching. In this systematic thematic synthesis, we followed PRISMA guidelines and synthesized 63 studies from 2010 to 2026. It examines methodological approaches, contrasts collaborative and individual creativity, and explores the cognitive, affective, social, and creative implications of robot integration. The results indicate that HRCC enhances innovation, efficiency, and accessibility while introducing technical, social, and ethical challenges, including issues of trust, role ambiguity, and authorship. The paper underscores the need for human-centered, transparent, and interdisciplinary research, along with standardized metrics for evaluating novelty and usefulness in co-created artifacts, inclusive design to reduce AI-related biases, and robust policy frameworks to ensure safe solutions.eng
