The video projector is an essential resource for the vast majority of teaching, organizational and other activities, such as conferences. However, the way it is used constrains what can be done to promote more effective and creative ways of interacting and sharing information and knowledge. On the conventional use, there is a pivot that takes control over the video projection resource showing the contents, that belongs to the self pivot or to third parties. Alternatively, each presenter takes on the role of pivot. Neither solution is optimal and is far from what is possible to do. In the first model, interaction is automatically constrained, due to the difficulty of changing content, in particular when it involves demonstrations with several participants. In the second case, the situation is aggravated by the well-known connectivity problems between computer equipment and video-projectors, resulting from the physical incompatibilities of adapters and software configurations, which often make it impossible or whose resolution takes time that would be fundamental for the presentation, class or meeting concerned. In fact, the present situation we are experiencing as result of SARS COV 2, which forced us to change habits, but also to be more creative, showed that much more can be done. The adoption of tools such as Team or Zoom initially served as an alternative solution to ensure meetings, classes, or even conferences. But it quickly went beyond that, being adopted in the context of face-to-face classes, as a much more agile and effective way of sharing content, not only of presentations and videos but also demonstrations in real-time. It is undeniable that this form of sharing that allows showing real-time demonstrations, quickly changing presenters, maintaining parallel channels of communication, among other things, will certainly impact the learning and productivity of our organizations and companies. Cast technologies and devices, like Podcast, Miracast and Chromecast also allow easy access to video projection resources (video-projector or LCD). The same happens with video-projectors with wireless connectivity, but these solutions are still designed for one user at a time access/control the resource. In addition, there is a substantial number of deprecated video projectors, particularly in schools, including institutions of higher education, which are not compatible with these technologies. The authors present in this article the architecture for a low-cost solution that aims to endow the video-projection resources, including the oldest ones, with management and sharing features, without the known problems of connectivity and incompatibilities. The architecture is based on a Raspberry Pi and a set of three applications that together make the use of the system very simple and intuitive, and create conditions to promote new working and teaching paradigms.pt_PT
