Abstract(s)
O principal objetivo deste trabalho é identificar as principais características da leitura oral
e da leitura silenciosa de alunos que terminam o Primeiro Ciclo do Ensino Básico, nas
escolas oficiais do concelho de Vila Verde, distrito de Braga. A tipologia de dificuldades
na leitura implica a sua categorização em dificuldades específicas na aprendizagem da
leitura e em dificuldades gerais na aprendizagem da leitura. Neste estudo, participaram
32 alunos distribuídos, equitativamente, por género e por tipologia de turma (homogénea
e heterogénea). A recolha dos dados assentou na aplicação do subtestes de análise da
leitura oral e do subteste de análise da leitura silenciosa do teste psicométrico Teste de
Análise de Lectoescritura (T.A.L.E). Os resultados sugerem que, de um modo geral, os
alunos em estudo revelam resultados abaixo do esperado para o nível de escolaridade
que frequentam

The type of difficulties in reading involves their categorisation into specific learning difficulties in reading and in general learning difficulties in reading. 32 students participated in this study, equitably distributed by gender and type of class (homogeneous or heterogeneous). The collection of data was made through the application of subtest of oral reading analysis and the subtest of silent reading analysis of the psychometric test - Reading and Writing Analysis Test (T.A.L.E. - Teste de Análise de Lectoescritura). The results suggest that, in general, the students in the study reveal results below the expected for the level of education they attend
