Abstract(s)
Os pombais são construções emblemáticas que têm assumido um papel importante no
desenvolvimento sustentável do Nordeste Transmontano. Com este trabalho pretendese
abordar os aspetos relacionados com a importância ambiental que estas construções
tiveram e têm atualmente, quer na conservação das espécies, quer no ecoturismo ou na
agricultura. A metodologia utilizada consistiu na pesquisa seleção e recolha de
informação com recurso a fontes de natureza diversa: livros, revistas e fontes
eletrónicas.
Dovecotes are emblematic buildings that have played an important role in the sustainable development of the Northeastearn Portuguese Region. This work aims to address the relevant aspects related to the environmental importance of these buildings had and currently have in the species conservation, ecotourism and agriculture. The research methodology consisted in the selection and collection of information using different sources: books, magazines and electronic sources.
